One advice that most (if not all) blog coaches give is to write about something that you are passionate about. Since it’s the start of the year, a lot of people have made goals for themselves. We are pretty sure that being or keeping fit and healthy is part of these goals. Another “in” thing is to document your journey this 2017 by blogging. Why not combine these two this year and document your fitness journey?
Manila Workshops has partnered with KFit, Evolve Yoga & Fitness and Running Free Manila to bring you this Fitness Blogging 101 class, Write your Way to Fitness: Blogging 101 for Aspiring Fitness Bloggers. This fitness blogging 101 course for aspiring fitness bloggers aims to guide you in the right direction when blogging about fitness. The course aims to ignite your passion in sports and communicate to your audience and collaborate with brands through a basic process flow or guideline. Participants are highly recommended to have a working blog to get the full benefits from this course.
All participants are required to come in workout clothes as well for a yoga class. This class will be part of a blogging assignment that will be cascaded during the course.
1. Find a blogging platform. (PLATFORM)
2. Identify your niche. (PASSION)
3. Build your social network. (NETWORK)
4. Setup your blog and start writing. (COMMIT)
5. Difference between YOU and Your Brand (YOU and YOUR BRAND)
The speaker for this workshop will be Allan Ray Enriquez. Allan is the blogger of Running Free Manila since 2010. He created the blog to chronicle his running journey that eventually lead to other fitness and wellness pursuits. He is a personal fitness trainer in running, bootcamp, CrossFit and muay thai. He used to work in several local and international banks before he pursued his passion in fitness. He is a mentor in Active Health Community and represents fitness brands such as Mizuno and 2XU among others.
